As soon as I arrived in Nepal, I knew I had made the right decision.

I was picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel, where I met Anil and Samir, my tour guide.

Samir double-checked that the hiking gear I packed was in good shape, and he was surprised that I had everything I needed.

The following day, we flew from Kathmandu via EBC.

Samir looked after me for the next twelve days in the Highlands.

In my case, I had some flight delays and luggage issues before arriving in Nepal. But they helped me throughout the whole time.

Our guide Sanjay was very attentive throughout the trip and kind of customized our trip to our needs and liking. He was also very funny, and we could often hear him laughing while staying at the tea houses along the way.

Our porter was always around the corner or ahead of us, ensuring our bags always arrived on time.

This is the experience of a lifetime. Be prepared for the beauty around every corner, incredibly hospitable and warm people, and amazing food. So, we wanted to do it but due to the shortage of time we can do Poonhill but we do ABC trek which is one of my best trek ever. These company is very good in terms of email replying and the guide and porter here is very friendly and polite. Our guide was Rakesh Gurung and our guide was Asman. He was so strong that he carry our bags easily. Guide was always there to ask us, if there is anything we need. They make our trip comfortable with their friendly behavior. We are so thankful towards them.

We got it all really; the madness of the city, the paradise of the mountains, the exciting flight to Lukla, hot sun, deep snow, breathtaking views, Sherpa culture, Yaks, homebrew, monks, monasteries, peaks & pubs....hard to beat! Guide & porter were great. Ram our guide seemed to know everyone along the way and was a good laugh to be with. We watched Hari out porter carrying half his bodyweight out of the tea-house every morning but he kept smiling which helped with the guilty feeling! There is some hardship involved with the altitude & facilities available but that's all part of the experience. Have to also mention that the aftercare we received from Glorious was great...we weren't really expecting any. They organized everything we needed afterwards including COVID tests and in a place like Kathmandu any help you can get is worth taking! All in all...brilliant!

Our porter Norgey was a polite and considerate man, and our tour guide Parkhi was knowledgeable and pleasant. They both played a part in making our trip easy and memorable.

They have really good accommodations in Kathmandu, so you will be able to rest and recover well after the trek. Personally I stayed in Thamel Park Hotel, which have a nice restaurant at its rooftop! From there you can see literally all the city and have a drink while you’re watching the sunset.

Please bring with you enough medicines just in case you get any sickness like a cold, etc. Antibiotics, Ibuprofen, and pills for dizziness are important.

I highly recommend to do Everest Base Camp with Eco Trek, you will trek safe and enjoying every step in this magic country!
